Would Michael Jordan be late for tea?

We’ve noticed Michael Jordan being a sportsperson is punctual, meticulous, and incredibly professional on the court. The basketball sensation, the champion, Michael Jordan, the man who brought accolades to the game and his country, completely changing the face of Basketball (NBA) on the global radar, acquired more than records and phenomenal game skills from playing sports.

So, our best guess is that he won’t be late for the 4 PM meeting because sports teach you life skills and motivate you to practice them on and off the field.

Identifying interests and talent plays an integral part in a child’s journey towards excellence. Sports are essential for your child's overall development as it comes in handy in all spheres of life. We, at NWS, expose students to experience both team and individual sports. Sport is an indispensable part of the inter-house activities, and NWS students also compete successfully in inter-school, district, state and national level tournaments and championships.

We help students identify their favourite sport and naturally gravitate towards it in the process! At NWS, sport is seen as a vehicle for developing the values of collaboration, resilience, adaptability, teamwork, accountability, self-discipline and respect. We ensure that our students have access to the top-notch platforms and opportunities at hand!

Sports do more than just keep us fit and healthy, they help in the overall development of students. In addition to enhancing the child’s physical and mental abilities, sports help them become resilient, which is why sport is an integral part of the school curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in a range of sporting activities, both during the school day and out-of-school hours.

Books are important, but so are sports, then why pick one? We choose both, what about you?
